Is there a limit to how many people can access the "Listen in Live" streaming audio at any one time?
Yes. There is a finite amount of streams that are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Why isn't there any sound coming from the Live Audio?
There could be a number of reasons you don't have sound. If the chamber you are trying to listen to is not in session, you will have silence. If you know the chamber is in session, double-check to see that your computer is equipped with a sound card, your speakers are connected and the volume is turned up. Contact our Webmaster if you are still having problems.

How do I download the RealPlayer audio program?
RealPlayer is needed to listen to the live proceedings from the House and Senate chambers. Instructions on how to download the free player can be found on the Real Audio Web site.

How come I can't get connected to the "Listen in Live" application?
There could be a number of reasons you might not be able to get connected to live audio feed. Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the free RealPlayer application. It can be located on the Real Audio Web site. Even if you have a version of RealPlayer, there may be "plug-ins" and "drivers" that will need to be downloaded to make your version compatible to the site.

There is also a finite number of real audio streams available on a first come, first serve basis. If all the streams are in use, you will not be able to get connected until one of them becomes available.

Why do I get dropped from the "Listen in Live" application?
Internet connection speeds can be a determining factor on "Listen in Live" application's quality. If the connection gets interrupted for more than a few seconds, the server will drop the connection to open the audio stream to the next person.

Who do I contact in regards to the Live Audio connection?
You will need to contact the Webmaster if you are having technical problems with the "Listen in Live" application.
