How do I listen in to the Senate chamber while they're in session?
You can listen to the live proceedings of the Senate through
streaming audio feeds directly from the Senate chamber. You can
"Listen in
Live" and find all instructions in the Senate section
of this site.
Where can I get a complete listing of the Senators with their
contact information?
The Secretary of the Senate keeps an extensive public database
of representatives and their contact information called the Senate
Roster. You can find this in the Senate section of this site.
Where can I find a listing of Senate committees?
Senate committee listings can be found in either the Senate
or committee sections
of this site.
Can I get a copy of the Senate Journal?
Yes. You can get the current copy of the Senate
journal from either the Senate or journal section of this
site. You can find past journals from the journal section of this
site.
Where do I go to find my Senator?
You can find your representative by clicking on the "Find
your Senator" link on the Senate section of this site.
You may then search by name, county, city or district.
How often is the Senate calendar and Journal updated on the site?
The calendars and journals are updated every business day
during the legislative session. Calendars are released one business
day prior to their effective date. Journals are available the
first business day following their publication date.
Where can I get a copy of the Senate rules?
A copy of the Senate
rules can be found under the Senate Rules tab on the Senate
section of this site.
