7-17-19  Errors in filing. (a) The errors of
the filing office in the UCC information manage-
ment system may be corrected by the filing offi-
cer. If the correction occurs after the filing officer
has issued a search certification date, a filing of-
ficer statement shall be filed by the filing officer
in the UCC information management system
identifying the record to which it relates, the date
of the correction, and an explanation of the cor-
rective action taken. The record shall be pre-
served as long as the record is preserved in the
UCC information management system.

 (b) Each error by a filer shall be the responsi-
bility of the filer. The filer may correct the error
by filing an amendment or a correction statement.
