Nick Myers provided an overview of HB2079. (Attachment 4)
Doug Mays spoke in support of the HB2079. The bill would treat registered motor vehicles owned by rural water districts and used for utility purposes the same way as vehicles owned by other local government units that are used for utility purposes. (Attachment 5)
Chairman Sloan asked if there were questions. There were none. Gary Hanson, who was in the audience, mentioned that only lines 35 and 36 in the bill are new.
The Chairman asked if anyone else wished to testify, there being no further conferees, the Chairman closed the hearing on HB2079.
