Chairperson Kerschen opened the hearing on SB117.

Tamera Lawrence from the Revisor of Statutes Office reviewed the bill.

Mike Beam with the Kansas Livestock Association testified in support of the bill.  He believes that the wild blackberry is a prime example of a plant that causes economic and ecological concerns in most areas of the state. (Attachment 1)
