Chairperson Barker opened the hearing on HB2273. Jason Long, Revisor, provided an overview of the bill (Attachment 15).
Chairperson Barker recognized Representative Dennis "Boog" Highberger as a proponent on HB2273 (Attachment 16). Questions were asked by Representatives Williams and Lusk.
Ken Treadway was recognized by the Chair as a proponent of HB2273 (Attachment 17).
Representative Rooker asked the Revisor about the penalties and how enforcement is carried out. Mr. Long advised that he would have to do some research to see what the Attorney General's penalties are.
Chairperson Barker asked if there were any other conferees. Seeing none, the hearing on HB2273 was closed.
