Vice-Chairperson Bollier opened the hearing on HB2028.
Scott Abbott, Staff Revisor, gave an overview of HB2028.
Mary Blubaugh presented testimony in support of HB2028 which would allow the opening of three Licensed Mental Health Technicians programs at Osawatomie State Hospital, Fort Scott Community College and Larned State Hospital/Barton County Community College. Another change allows for examination and reexamination fee to be paid directly to the examination service. The bill also includes changing the word "patient" to "individual" and language cleanup. (Attachment 3)
After questions from the committee the Vice-Chairperson closed the hearing on HB2028.
Meeting was adjourned at 10:30.
