Chairperson Johnson opened the hearing on HB2380 and recognized Adam Seibers, Assistant Revisor. Adam Seibers noted HB2380 allows for a 0.5 percent sales tax for Marion County. The money would be used for the purpose of financing the cost of construction of public infrastructure improvements.
Chairperson Johnson yielded the chair to Vice-Chairperson Phillips, who presided for the remainder of the meeting.
Representative Schroeder, District 74 testified as a proponent for HB2380. (Attachment 7)
Tinda D. Spencer, Marion County Clerk testified as a proponent for HB2380. (Attachment 8)
Vice-Chairperson Phillips closed the hearing on HB2380.
