Chairperson Tyson opened a hearing on HB2228.
Adam Siebers presented to the Committee an explanation that HB2228 is similar to SB29 and described the differences. He stood for several questions.
Amelia Kovar-Donohue, Kansas Department of Revenue, also answered questions from the Committee concerning HB2228.
Written only testimony presented to the Committee in support of HB2228 was provided by Joe Grisolano, Crawford County Treasurer (Attachment 2); and Shilo Heger, Riley County Treasurer (Attachment 3).
No testimony neutral or in opposition to HB2228 was presented to the Committee.
