The Chairman called the meeting to order for the purpose of considering proposed changes in various sections of the bill (Attachment 1). Staff Kyle Hamilton provided explanations and answered members' questions.
Following discussion, the Chairman entertained a motion regarding the changes. Representative Gallagher moved to accept SB126 as amended. Representative Good seconded the motion. The motion passed.
Representative Gallagher moved to recommend SB126 as amended as favorable for passage. Representative Judd-Jenkins seconded the motion. The motion passed.
The Chairman thanked members for their commitment to bring the bill to the House. The meeting was adjourned at 9:35 a.m. No further meeting is planned for the 2017 Legislative Session.
