Chairperson McGinn moved, Senator Doll seconded, adoption of the proposed amendment. Motion carried.
Senator Kerschen distributed a proposed amendment and discussed the recommended changes. (Attachment 2)
Senator Kerschen moved, Senator Schmidt seconded, adoption of the proposed amendment. Motion carried.
Senator Hensley moved, Senator Kelly seconded, to recommend Senate Substitute for HB 2278, as amended, favorably for passage. Motion carried.
Senator Billinger moved, Senator Schmidt seconded, introduction of a bill regarding the prompt payment act. Motion carried.
Chairperson McGinn adjourned the meeting at 1:31 pm.
