Matt Sterling, Revisor of Statutes, gave an overview of HB2438 regarding prohibiting state agencies from using the same vendor to plan and build certain IT projects, and the exceptions. He noted the vote in the house was 123-0.

Donna Shelite, Office of Information Technology Services for the executive branch, spoke to HB2438. She noted that they are asking the vendors to be allowed to be involved in the creation of the project and therefore have the depth of knowledge required in the project. (Attachment 7)
