Chairman Sutton called the meeting to order at 3:31p.m.
Chairman opened the hearing on HB2170.
Revisor Mike Heim gave an overview of the bill.
Mark Skoglund, Executive Director, Kansas Governmental Ethics Commission talked about the HB2170. He stated it would increase the availability and accuracy of campaign finance data to the public. Paper filing introduces a number of avenues for errors. The agency would experience cost savings(Attachment1).
There were no neutral and no opponent testimony.
