Chairperson Bowers opened final action on SB7. Mike Heim, staff revisor, reviewed the bill and addressed questions from the Committee. Mr. Heim distributed and explained a balloon amendment proposed by USD #259 from Wichita. (Attachment 6)
Senator Hardy moved, Senator McGinn seconded, to adopt the proposed amendment. Motion carried.
Senator Hardy moved, Senator Skubal seconded, to recommend SB7 as amended, favorably for passage. Motion carried.
