Natalie Scott gave an overview of HB2305.
There were no testimony for proponent or neutral positions.
Richard Samaniego on behalf of the Crime Victims Compensation Board in opposition of HB2305. He stated the bill would eliminate the requirements that, in order to receive crime victims compensation, claimants must timely report their crimes and cooperate with law enforcement authorities. (Attachment 1)
Questions were asked by the Committee.
Chairperson Jennings called for final questions from the Committee and then closed the hearing.
