Chairperson Blake Carpenter opened the hearing on HB2052 and acknowledged Mike Heim, Office of Revisor of Statutes. Revisor Heim provided a balloon amendment. (Attachment 1) Committee members asked questions about the amendment.
Chairperson Carpenter reported there were no proponents or opponents for this bill.
Thomas A. Day, Director, Division of Legislative Administrative Services, was introduced by Chairperson Carpenter. Mr. Day gave neutral testimony for HB2052. He stated HB2052, as amended, may have unintended consequences to the taxable fringe benefit of an employee. (Attachment 2) Mr. Day stood for questions from Committee members.
