The Chairman recognized LeeAnn Phelps. (Attachment 8) She said this legislative change is being requested by the Division of Vehicles to conform with changes to the federal odometer disclosure law passed in the fall of 2019. She said the ruling changed the exemption on vehicle odometer disclosure requirements. Ms. Phelps said the federal requirement became effective on January 1, 2021.
There were no other proponents, opponents or neutrals so the Chairman closed the hearing on SB95 and opened the hearing on SB99.
