Chairperson Barker stated that the Committee will hear all the proposed amendments and discuss them today.
Various motions were introduced to the Committee with explanations given by each carrier and the Revisor followed by questions and discussion. Amendments were offered by Representatives Hoye (Attachment 1); Smith (Attachment 2) (Attachment 3); Howe (Attachment 4); Penn (Attachment 5); Waggoner (Attachment 6) (Attachment 7) (Attachment 8) (Attachment 9); Woodard (Attachment 10); and Carpenter (Attachment 11).
Representative Eplee went over the three amendments he distributed to the Committee at yesterday's hearing (Attachment 12) (Attachment 13) (Attachment 14) (Attachment 14A). The Revisor also provided an explanation of the attachments to Representative Eplee's third amendment (Attachment 14). Discussion and questions followed.
Chairperson Barker stated that he wants the Committee to have enough time to review all the amendments prior to proceeding further.
Chairperson Barker stated he would entertain a motion to approve the minutes of February 11, 2021.
Representative Ruiz moved to approved the minutes of February 11, 2021, seconded by Vice-Chairperson Arnberger. Following an oral vote, the minutes were approved.
