Chairperson Hilderbrand called attention to HB2114 for final action. Jenna Moyer, Staff Revisor gave a brief overview of the bill. Senator Pettey offered an amendment (Attachment 8) which would add as a study topic the rebalancing of home and community based services (HCBS). Numerous questions and discussion followed. Senator Pettey moved her amendment, with a second from Senator Holscher. On a voice vote of aye, the amendment was adopted. Senator O'Shea moved that HB2114 be passed as amended, with a second from Senator Erickson. On a voice vote of aye, HB2114 was passed favorably, as amended.
Chairperson Hilderbrand adjourned the meeting at 9:30 a.m. The next scheduled meeting is March 26, 2021.
