Chairperson Warren opened the hearing on HB2277.
Jason Thompson, Senior Assistant Revisor, provided an overview of HB2277. (Attachment 12) The revisor responded to questions from Committee members.
Aaron Breitenbach testified in support of HB2277 on behalf of Marc Bennett, District Attorney, 18th Judicial District, stating the bill clarifies the definition of possession as set forth in the Kansas Criminal Code. (Attachment 13)
