Chairperson Longbine opened the hearing on HB2564. He told members that this House bill is identical to SB329. It is renewed annually and amends the date of the risk-based capital instructions in effect.
Eileen Ma, Assistant Revisor, Kansas Office of Revisor of Statutes (ROS) presented the Revisor's Memorandum brief of the bill. (Attachment 7)
Lee Modesitt, Director of Government Affairs and Communication for the Kansas Insurance Department (KID) presented testimony supporting HB2564 and stood for questions. There were none. (Attachment 8)
Chairperson Longbine called for any other proponent, opponent, or neutral testimony to be submitted. Seeing none, he closed the hearing on HB2564.
