AN ACT concerning insurance; relating to the healthcare provider insurance availability act; designating certain healthcare providers as being ineligible to purchase professional liability insurance from the healthcare stabilization fund; requiring such healthcare providers to maintain continuous professional liability insurance coverage equivalent to that provided by the healthcare stabilization fund as a condition of licensure; amending K.S.A. 40-3401 and 40-3403a and repealing the existing sections.
