32-1129. Lifesaving devices. (a) The operator of every vessel shall require every person 12 years of age or under to wear a United States Coast Guard approved type I, type II or type III personal flotation device while aboard or being towed by such vessel. A life belt or ring shall not satisfy the requirement of this section. (b) Violation of subsection (a) shall constitute a class C misdemeanor. |
