72-6405. Citation of act; nonseverable provisions, exception. (a) K.S.A. 72-6405 through 72-6440, the provisions of chapter 152, sections 1 through 18 of chapter 194 of the 2005 session laws of Kansas and sections 1 through 6 of chapter 197 of the 2006 session laws of Kansas, and amendments thereto,* shall be known and may be cited as the school district finance and quality performance act.

(b) Except for the provisions of K.S.A. 2014 Supp. 75-2321, and amendments thereto, the provisions of the school district finance and quality performance act are not severable. Except for the provisions of K.S.A. 2014 Supp. 75-2321, and amendments thereto, if any provision of that act is stayed or is held to be invalid or unconstitutional, it shall be presumed conclusively that the legislature would not have enacted the remainder of such act without such stayed, invalid or unconstitutional provision.
