72-6425. Transportation fund, abolished; transportation expenses paid from general fund. (a) All moneys received by the district for pupil transportation shall be credited to the general fund. The expenses of a district attributable to pupil transportation shall be paid from the general fund.

(b) The transportation fund of each district is hereby abolished. Any moneys in such fund shall be transferred and credited to the general fund of the school district.
