KPERS Executive Director Alan Conroy provided informational testimony. (Attachment 3) Mr. Conroy responded to questions from the Committee.
Chairperson Kelly opened the hearing on HB2266.
Dennis Phillips testified in support of HB2266 stating that it would help provide for the survivors of KPERS retirees. Retirees who had two separate pensions would receive two separate death benefits. (Attachment 4)
There being no further conferees, Chairperson Kelly closed the hearing on HB2266.
