Chairperson Schmidt opened the hearing on HB2600.
Scott Abbott, Staff Revisor, gave an overview of HB2600.
Kimberly Steves testified as a proponent for HB2600. If passed, this bill would allow the increase of maximum fees as set in regulation which are currently near the maximum. This bill also includes provisions to change the method of charging radioactive materials license fees to those facilities which have multiple sites of use. This bill adds an additional 50% of the license fee to each additional site of use. (Attachment 3)
