Chairperson Lynn opened the meeting and recognized Amanda Stanley, The League of Kansas Municipalities, who provided testimony in opposition to the bill. (Attachment 1)
Senator Suellentrop invited Ms. Stanley to submit language for changes to the bill to address the concerns listed in the testimony.
Senator Alley said he would be interested in hearing ideas for other economic development incentive plans as an alternative to using STAR Bonds.
