Assistant Revisor Eileen Ma briefed the members on HB 2083. She said the bill amended K.S.A. 40-1112a, pertaining to the required reduction in auto insurance premium charges when an individual successfully completed a motor vehicle accident safety course. The current bill established a four-hour minimum for the course. It also replaced the phrase "governmental agency" with "state or federal agency" (Attachment 2)
