Chairman Sutton opened the hearing SB131.
Revsor Mike Heim gave an overview of the bill.
Tabitha Lehman stated aligning the filing deadlines would reduce confusion and would provide election administrators with more time to prepare ballots.(Attachment 7)
Rick Piepho stated there were two parts to the bill. The first part of the bill would align the deadline with the other deadlines. The second part addresses township officers taking the oath of office at the time of taking office.(Attachment 8)

There being no more testimony Chairman Sutton closed the hearing.
Chairman Sutton announced the next meeting will be March 19, 2019.
