Chairperson McGinn continued the hearing on SB 186.
Jerry Younger testified in favor of the bill and provided an historical perspective of transportation changes in the last couple decades. It's important to remember that transportation supports our ability to provide mobility and economic opportunities that improve the quality of life throughout the state. Mr. Younger responded to questions from Committee members. (Attachment 1)
Jackie Clark, Ash Grove Cement Company, spoke as a proponent of the bill. Her company appreciated all the work done last year on the Transportation Task Force and she stressed that this is very important for the infrastructure of the State. (Attachment 2)
