The Chairperson opened the hearing on HB2572.
Jason Long introduced the legislation to the Committee and answered questions from the Representatives. (Attachment 1)
Chairperson Huebert spoke as a proponent on the bill. He stated that this bill is modeled after Tennessee legislation that was passed and implemented. This is a way to value our teachers. It is cost effective and a win-win for anyone. He urged the Committee to support the bill. (Attachment 2)
