Staff explained the bill and answered questions.

The first proponent was Representative Cindy Holscher. (Attachment 4) According to Representative Holscher, this bill would require UBER and LYFT drivers to display information on the rear passenger window of the vehicle showing the driver's name, license plate information and make and model of car.  She said having a designated spot for this information is important because customers will become trained to look for this verification.
