Staff explained the bill.
The Chairman recognized Deann Williams. (Attachment 1) According to Ms. Williams the change in this statute will allow for changes to the prescribed combinations of letters and numbers on license plates at the discretion of the Secretary of Revenue. She said it would also clean up the language stating plates must be shipped directly to the county.
The Chairman asked if there were other proponents, any opponents or neutrals. There were none so Chairman Proehl closed the hearing on SB302 and opened the hearing on SB306.
