Scott Schultz, Executive Director, Kansas Sentencing Commission, submitted a Prison Bed Impact Assessment for Committee review. (Attachment 6)
Shawn Jurgensen testified in support, stating HB2346 would provide a mechanism to assist with payment of court services officer salaries, pretrial supervision fee waivers, and pretrial supervision provider expansion options. (Attachment 7)
Written only testimony in support of HB2346 was submitted by the Honorable Thomas Kelly Ryan, Chief Judge, 10th Judicial District of Kansas. (Attachment 8)
