Jenna Moyer, gave a brief overview of SB343.
Senator O'Shea offered an amendment to SB343 (Attachment 15), with a second from Senator Baumgardner. On a voice vote of aye, the amendment was adopted.
Senator Baumgardner moved to pass SB343 as amended, favorably for passage, with a second from Senator Gossage. On a voice vote of aye, SB343 passed favorably as amended.
Senator Holscher requested to introduce two bills.
Senator Holscher introduced a bill that removed maternity center licensure from Article 5 in Chapter 65. There were no objections and the bill was introduced.
Senator Holscher also introduced a bill concerning mobile communication devices relative to mental health. There were no objections and the bill was introduced.
Chairperson Hilderbrand adjourned the meeting at 9:25 a.m. The next scheduled meeting is February 8, 2022.
