Senator Warren proposed an effective date amendment and discussed the proposed amendment changing the effective date upon publication in the "statute book" to "Kansas register" on page 2, line 6. (Attachment 10)
Senator Warren moved to adopt the amendment. Senator Gossage seconded. The motion carried.
Senator Wilborn moved to recommend HB2299, as amended, favorably for passage. Senator Gossage seconded. The motion carried.
