The Kansas Legislature's audit office uses performance auditors to evaluate how effectively and efficiently government agencies and programs are working. Vacancies are filled at the entry level. Successful candidates must have a master's degree or significant graduate-level coursework in business, accounting, law, public administration, the social sciences, etc; must demonstrate excellent skills in data analysis, oral communication, and report writing; and must be comfortable working in a team setting. Preference given to candidates with strong computer skills.
