The Chairperson turned the Committee's attention to HB2089. Chairperson Longbine had an amendment to the bill which would change the effective date to its publication date in the Kansas Register. (Attachment 3) The Chairperson moved the amendment, seconded by Senator Pittman. The amendment was adopted. Senator Dietrich moved, seconded by Senator Fagg, that HB2089, as amended, be passed with favorable recommendation. The motion passed.
