Chair Hoheisel called for discussion and final action on HB 2105, recognized David Wiese, Senior Assistant Revisor, who provided a review of HB 2105. No questions.
Background on HB 2105 - Chair Hoheisel briefed on the history of the HB 2105 and advised that all interested parties have agreed on a compromise. However, some minor language was just agreed upon last night and not yet available for consideration in the amendment today. Chair Hoheisel would like to proceed with discussion and action on HB 2105 today and allow for any additional language to be considered at the appropriate time in the legislative process and detailed the possible opportunities for that to occur.
Chair Hoheisel announced a balloon amendment on HB 2105 and requested David Wiese, Senior Assistant Revisor, to explain the Hoheisel amendment. (Attachment1)
Chair Representative Nick Hoheisel moved to adopt the amendment, seconded by Representative Laura Williams. The motion passed on a voice vote.
Representative Bill Clifford made a motion to favorably pass HB 2105 as amended. The motion was seconded by Representative Bob Lewis and passed on a voice vote.
