Chairperson Longbine turned the Committee's attention to action on HB2096. He announced there was an amendment to change the effective date to its publication date in the Kansas Register. (Attachment 7)
Chairperson Longbine moved the amendment, seconded by Senator Dietrich. The amendment was adopted .
Senator Kloos moved, seconded by Senator Gossage, to pass HB2096, as amended, with favorable recommendation. The motion carried.
