The Chair stated that they would now discuss and work HB2358. The Revisor provided an overview of the bill and the amendment (Attachment 1).
Representative Haskins stated that there is a typographical error in section (i) of the balloon amendment. The words "licensed licensed" in the second line should be simply "licensed." Chairperson Carpenter stated that error would be corrected.
Representative Eplee moved that the amendment to HB2358 with the deletion of the second "licensed" in section i be passed, seconded by Representative Ruiz. The amendment was passed.
Representative Eplee moved to recommend HB2358, as amended, favorably for passage, seconded by Representative Sanders. HB2358, as amended, was favorably passed.
