68-529. Where a road is located on a county, township or city line, and by reason of any impediment, natural or otherwise, any portion of such road suffers a deflection from such line not exceeding forty rods parallel distance, then for the purpose of repairing, maintaining and improving such road it shall be treated the same as though it were actually on such county, township or city line, and all expenses either in money, material or labor necessary to repair, maintain and improve any portion of said road shall be borne jointly by the counties, townships and cities contiguous thereto as provided in other like cases. |
